The Calle Ocho Festival Returns to Miami on March 15

Largest conga line. Biggest piñata. Longest cigar. These are just a few of the Guinness Book of World Records titles that the Calle Ocho Festival has earned over the years. It’s also considered the country’s biggest street festival, and it’s coming back to Miami on Sunday, March 15th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The day-long bash celebrates all aspects of Latin culture, from food and drink to music and dance. It spans 20 city blocks, across which you’ll find 12 different stages. They’ll all play host to Latin bands throughout the day, so you’re invited to dance to the beats for as long as your feet can carry you. Then grab some Latin food and drink from the vendors on hand. The festival is free to attend and takes over Calle Ocho (AKA 8th Street), with most of the entertainment concentrated between 12th and 27 Avenues.
